The time has come to reconnect and come together.
Live music needs you and you need a great day out! We have everything ready for the 2023 Lakeside Festival and can’t wait to see you.  Our wonderful artists, food vendors, bar stalls and volunteers are all busting to put on a great show for you.

Here’s a couple of FAQs before we see you there!

GENERAL FAQ

Is there disabled access? Yes, designated drop off zone at entrance gate, park grounds are flat and wheelchair friendly, disabled toilet available plus companion card friendly.

Where are the toilets? An amenities block with disabled toilet and Portaloos will be available inside the music festival grounds. No change tables available sorry.

Is seating provided? No, there are very limited bench seats and picnic tables available for use inside the music festival, however not in the best veiw of the stage. Please BYO camp chair or picnic rug.

Can I go in and out of the festival? Yes, pass outs are permitted so don’t lose your wristband. Removal of wristbands will result in having to re-purchase tickets at gate price or denial of re-entry.

Will there be shade? There are large shade trees within the park, we also have 2 large shade marquees. Remember to slip, slop, slap and wear a hat! Own shade structure and umbrellas are not allowed – only ponchos please if raining.

WHAT IF IT’s Hot?

We recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen and stay sun safe during the event if weather is hot.
Free water is available at the event with ample shade throughout.
Ice cream and cold drinks are also available from our vendors and bar.
Swimming is NOT permitted.

What if it’s raining?

Weather updates will be announced on Thursday evening before Saturdays event.
Wet weather hasn’t stopped us yet.
Bring a poncho for wet weather or purchase from our merch tent

The festival and the markets WILL STILL GO AHEAD if it is a light shower.

However, in the event of HEAVY wet weather and storm conditions the Lakeside Music Festival will move to Club Forster, 19 Strand St, Forster.
Doors will open at 11am – Limited tickets available at the door. Music starts 12 noon till 8.30pm.
THIS IS A FULLY LICENSED EVENT – Under 18’s must be accompanied their parent(s) or guardian(s).
Bar facilities will be open in the Club Forster Bar Galaxy Room Bar. Food will be available for purchase at The bistro open for lunch and dinner

What is there for kids to do? If you have little ones there is kids entertainment such as facepainting, toddler sandpit, chalk art, lawn games plus loads of space to dance and play inside the music festival.

Where can I purchase merch? Band merch and festival merch will be available on the day of the event at the merch tent near the main stage.

What merch will be available on the day? Stubby holders, hats, band shirts, festival shirts, signed posters and CD’s . EFTPOS available at the Merch Tent.

Is there a site plan? Yes,

Where can I park my car? Car parking is available in nearby streets for free. Parking can be found at Vincent Fazio Park on Point Road, Tuncurry. Walking distance from the event. Please be considerate of parking times, the local residents and do not block driveways.

Parking is also available at the Main Beach car park – SEE MAP
and then enjoy a lovely walk across the bridge to the event.

Is there a shuttle bus? No there is no bus. We can recommend car pooling with your friends and family or calling a local on taxi 131 008.

Do our tickets automatically transfer to the new date? Yes! If you have a current valid ticket, your ticket will be valid for the new event in March 2022

Where do I buy tickets? Pre purchase tickets are available until 9pm Friday 3 Nov online at www.lakesidefestival.com.au or www.humanitix.com.au  ONLY IF NOT SOLD OUT ONLINE.  We advise you purchase online to get a discount and to avoid disappointment.

How much are Music Festival tickets? 
General Adult 18+ ONLINE – $51
Youth (13 to 17) ONLINE – $30
Children 12yrs & under – Free (ticket still required for entry)
Companion Card – Free

Under 18’s must be in direct company and supervision of their parent / guardian as this is a licensed event. EFPOS is available at the gate.

Will tickets be available at the gate? Limited tickets (IF NOT SOLD OUT ONLINE) will be at the gate from 11am, please pre-purchase your tickets 

Do I need to print my ticket? printed or on device are acceptable

Can I get a refund of my ticket? Refunds can only processed for those who previously purchased 2023 early bird tickets. No other refunds will be processed sorry.

Do I need ID? Yes. If you are 18+ please bring legal ID. All patrons under 18 MUST be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Will I need cash or can I use EFTPOS?  The food and drink vendors have both cash and EFTPOS facilities, as does the front gate, bar & merch tent.

Can we bring chairs, tables, umbrella or a marquee? Yes, bring your camping chairs or a picnic rug.  Marquees and umbrellas are not permitted, to ensure everyone uninterrupted view of the stage. We provide several large marquees and natural shade at the event. Ponchos are advised in wet weather.Can I bring my dog? No, except for special needs dogs.  Please do not turn up with your furry best mate, as we will have to refuse you entry.

Can we bring our own food and alcohol into the event? NO!
There is no BYO allowed, there is a wide variety of food stalls at the event with a great range of food and beverage options available.
BYO food exemptions for pre-approved medical reasons and infants.
Can I bring bottled water? BYO EMPTY water bottles we have FREE water refill stations available.

Are there vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available? Yes, our vendors will have these options available. If you have special dietry needs you can reach out to our food vendors or check out if their menu is right for you below.

Where can I buy drink tickets? Drink tickets will be sold from the tent next to the bar marquee. EFTPOS is available.

GREEN = Full Strength Beer
RED = Mid-strength Beer
YELLOW = Pre-mixed Spirit Cans
BLUE = Bottle of Wine
PINK = Glass of Wine

What if I don’t use all my drink tickets? Please note at the end of the festival, all tickets are non-refundable or exchangeable for cash. We suggest purchasing tickets in smaller quantities if you are unsure of how many you will use.

Where can I buy alcohol? The Lakeside Pop up bar marquee will be located next to the stage. To consume or purchase alcohol you must be of legal age (18+).

Where can I buy non-alcohol drinks? Non alcoholic drinks can be purchased at our food vendors  Drink tickets will not be required. BYO an empty water bottle for free water refills at our water stations located on the festival grounds.
