The Dundaloo Drum Corp has been an entity since 2020 and is focused on sharing the pure enjoyment of djembe drumming and music. The crew love to set up rhythm’s and create routines together as well as sing feel good songs like sea shanties that bring everyone together to join in, audience included.

The group have performed at Eisteddfods and at concerts like the Imagine Concert at the River Stage in Taree in February 2023. They are really excited to be on the bill at the Lakeside Festival this year and are sure to get you singing and clapping along.

A new and exciting sound on the Mid North Coast, BOXCAR BLUES CO. are bringing an experience in Blues to Lakeside Festival that will have you grooving in your seats and swinging on the dance floor.

Exploring the origins of the Blues, as well as reflecting the essence of the masters, the local musicians that form BOXCAR BLUES CO. have developed and deliver a unique interpretation of Blues classics.

A singer songwriter from Old Bar, whose musical journey has companioned her personal journey as a solo mum, Lorren has looked to music and nature for the radiance of the moment, the promise of Now. Lorren works well-known songs into surprising offerings that tantalise the familiar and diverge in difference.

Her own songs are a growing repertoire: poetry developed for layered listening, woven into song with melody matched for impact. Hear Lorren’s upbeat covers with the band, quirky pop mashups, some Rickie Lee Jones and some of her own more energetic numbers.

Their music is a collection of rock/blues/roots with flashes of Tom Waits and Hendrix, melting towards Ben Harper, with screaming slide, big bass and big drums. It’s a big interactive show, with moving percussion – it’s stunning.

Hard to describe – see it for yourself at Lakeside Festival!

Little Quirks are all about the hooks, harmonies and explosive live energy. The band’s boisterous approach to the Folk Rock / Pop genre unashamedly pushes catchy melodies and big rhythms to the fore. While their layered vocals draw inspiration from the sibling charms of First Aid Kit and The Staves, the trio’s direct and often epic songs land them in a space of their very own. Catch them live at Lakeside Festival, they’re gonna blow you away!

Dubbed the Jimi Hendrix of the Hammond Organ, the Lachy Doley Group is Australia’s most celebrated Blues Soul Rock Organ Player in the world today. A player who can pump, pamper and occasionally pound the most unbelievable sounds from a keyboard: sounds that are intense, ferocious and sometimes transcendent.

Continually going viral on Facebook with videos clocking up millions of views. Most recently with his version of VOODOO CHILD played not on guitar, but rather his extremely rare and unique Whammy Clavinet. We’re excited to have the Lachy Doley Group performing at the Festival this year.

2023 sees Kate rack up 40 years and 30 albums into one of the most enduring and inspirational careers in Australian music.

11 platinum and 8 gold albums, 15 Top 40 singles, 3 Countdown awards, 4 ARIA awards from 19 nominations, but it’s over 8000 performances that her unassailable distinction was forged.

I’m Talking’s platinum debut, “Bear Witness”, brought Kate’s jaw-dropping voice to national attention via their 5 top 20 singles. It led to stages as historic as Live Aid and Australian Made alongside INXS, Jimmy Barnes and Divinyls. Today it’s enshrined among Rolling Stone’s Top 200 Australian Albums of all time.

There’s her record-breaking run with John Farnham in Jesus Christ Superstar, her hit TV show of the mid ‘90s ‘Kate & Friends’, her 2014 induction into the Australian Songwriters’ Hall of Fame, her triple Platinum smash debut solo album pop album Brave, her ARIA winning Platinum blues album ‘Stringer’, Kate was a force of nature from day one.

It’s a story that refreshes yet again with My Life Is A Symphony, a breathtaking celebration of her songwriting, featuring her most iconic songs, Brave and Pash, and favourites reimagined amid the grandeur of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Quite simply the voice of a generation.

The beautiful girls from the Sundara Tribe have danced for us at Lakeside Festival every year. Loved by the blokes AND the ladies in the audience and definitely loved by the kids.

Each year we can’t wait to see the costumes the ladies will have, all designed and made themselves especially for Lakeside.
